Zuga is simply the best! My family and I have had the pleasure of exploring both Saõ Tome&Principe and part of the Azores with her, and I can honestly say it's been a truly fun and unforgettable experience. She takes the time to understand your interests and tailors the experience accordingly, making it feel personal rather than scripted. What stands out most is her ability to go beyond the typical tourist spots. Instead of just showing the well-known attractions, she introduced us to authentic places we would have never discovered on our own—hidden spots, local hangouts, and breathtaking viewpoints that felt like well-kept secrets. She is also a diver and marine biologist and her knowledge in marine life is really impressive. We had our first dive with her and she helped make the whole process calm and smooth for us. Her friendliness, adaptability, passion and the big smile she always wears on her face make her the best person for the job. If you’re looking to truly connect with a place instead of just visiting it, I can’t recommend a local guide enough—especially one as dedicated and insightful as Zuga. It’s not just a tour, it’s an experience you’ll remember long after you leave. Can't wait for our next adventure together, Zuga!

An unforgettable experience with a true professional ​If you are visiting the Azores and want to see the islands through the eyes of someone who truly loves them, look no further! Our trip was transformed from a simple vacation into a truly remarkable experience, all thanks to our incredible Zuga. ​From the very first moment, we felt like we were exploring the island with a long-time friend. The level of care, flexibility, and personal attention was amazing. She took us to breathtaking hidden gems—secluded viewpoints, volcanoes—and showed us the authentic Azorean way of life. ​And last but not least, don't miss the whale watching experience! Since Zuga is a marine biologist and scuba diver, she provides fascinating firsthand insights that you won't get anywhere else.

Explore like a local with Zuga I met Zuga in São Tomé and Príncipe during a swimming trip where she organized amazing local experiences around the island. She surprised us with magical moments like releasing baby turtles into the ocean. She explained how to do it safely and respectfully, sharing her passion about turtles. We also did a night walk on the beach to look for a mama turtle laying her eggs—such an exciting experience! Zuga is very knowledgeable, explaining the turtle species, when to approach, and all the steps they go through. I learned so many things, I had a blast! We had delicious local food and visited very authentic spots thanks to her network on the island. Everything feels easy and well organized — you are truly in good hands. She is kind, easygoing and passionate about what she does. I highly recommend her for discovery tours and learning about marine life and conservation! Happy days!

Viagem de sonho Incrível experiência com a ZugaAdventures em São Tomé e em Príncipe. Tudo pensado com imenso amor dedicação e conhecimento do terreno . Nunca nenhuma questão ou dúvida ficou por responder com a sensibilidade e calor humano que a Zuga entrega . STP, a viagem que se tem que fazer com a Zuga Passei a última semana em São Tomé e Príncipe numa swim camp e foi, sem dúvida, uma das experiências mais bonitas e completas. Fui com vontade de nadar em águas quentes e paisagens tropicais… e voltei com o coração completamente rendido. Nadámos em praias incríveis, com aquele mar imenso, bonito e ao mesmo tempo desafiante. A Zuga tem uma sensibilidade rara: sabia exatamente quando nos pedir para parar e olhar à nossa volta, para absorver a paisagem no momento certo. Conhecia os peixes, as correntes, os cantos dos pássaros — e a qualquer som chamava a nossa atenção para nos mostrar o quão especial era aquele instante. Fez-nos ver São Tomé com olhos de quem ama verdadeiramente a ilha. Sempre de kayak ao nosso lado durante as travessias, deu-nos um apoio constante que nos fez sentir seguros. Mas esta experiência foi muito mais do que nadar. Levou-nos a comer comida tradicional, à libertação de tartarugas, a conhecer pessoas, histórias e sorrisos que ficam. Abriu-nos as portas de STP da forma mais genuína possível e mostrou-nos o quão acolhedora e autêntica é aquela cultura. Foi mesmo inesquecível e só posso recomendar a ZUGAdventures a quem queira viver o mar e a ilha de uma forma diferente, profunda e verdadeira.

Where Great Energy Meets Expertise I met Zuga during a swimming trip in São Tomé and Príncipe, and she wins everyone over immediately. Her energy is incredible, and her knowledge of nature and wildlife is truly impressive. She knows an amazing number of bird species and shared so much about the island’s endemic animals and the country’s culture. She also plays an important role in turtle protection, which allowed us to witness unforgettable moments: the release of baby turtles and even a mother turtle nesting her eggs — truly unique experiences. Zuga is passionate about the sea, and her expertise gives you a great sense of safety and trust. On top of that, she has many connections across the island, which made our journey even smoother and more enjoyable. I loved her guidance so much that I’ll be reaching out to her for activities in the Azores this summer! Couldn’t recommend her more — she made the whole trip unforgettable.

A leveza de um paraíso A Zuga é antes de mais, uma pessoa com uma enorme empatia, adora o que faz o que se reflete com muita genuinidade no seu trabalho. Tive a oportunidade de a conhecer numa viagem de 1 semana a S. Tomé e Príncipe e posso afirmar que ela fez toda a diferença. Conhecedora não só das biodiversidade das ilhas, desde as tartarugas, aos pássaros às plantas, é também enraizada na comunidade local. A Zuga foi incansável na partilha do saber procurando ir sempre além, promoveu enriquecer a viagem quer de desvios espontâneos, como foi o caso do hospital velho no Príncipe. Recomendo vivamente a ZUGAdventures e não tenho dúvidas de quando voltar, ( sim- porque ficaram muitas coisas por ver), conto com a Zuga! PS- 1 semana não é suficiente, 10 a 15 dias
